What began in 2005 as a grassroots vision has grown into a global movement led by our non-profit organization. Turning Green equips, empowers and mentors young leaders worldwide to drive climate action and transforms California school meals to fresh, local, 100% organic through a viable model for climate action and healthier communities.
- Conscious Campus: The 15th annual Project Green Challenge is underway — educating, inspiring and mobilizing thousands of students across 112 countries through our immersive 30-day global climate action program that has taken over 350,000 students on a transformative journey from conventional to conscious and launched hundreds of tangible Climate Action Projects.
- Conscious Kitchen: We connect small organic farmers with school food leaders to develop thriving organic supply chains that prove it is possible to serve 100% organic school meals to 6 million students across California — utilizing school meals as a powerful opportunity to address culinary and nutrition education, climate change and public health.
